Day 1, Saturday 23 August 2008 Australia - London
Flight departs 12.50am and arrives in London around mid afternoon. Coach transfer to hotel and after room allocation it is off to bed to recover from your fourteen hour flight. Overnight: Holiday Inn, Kings Cross /Bloomsbury (2 nights)
Day 2, (B) Sunday 24 August 2008 Day at Leisure
Time to unwind and relax after the long flight from Australia or you may like to join us as we join with a local church for worship.
Day 3, (BD) Monday 25 August 2008 London - Arnhem
We leave our London Hotel for to board the Eurostar Train for our fast tracked journey to Brussells.

Day 4, (BD) Tuesday 26 August 2008 Amsterdam sightseeing
A relaxing day cruising the city's canals and visiting a diamond factory. Some free time to wander the shops. We also visit Zaanse Schans museum village with its traditional windmills, clog makers and cheese making in the fishing village of Volendam. Our return route to Arnhem takes us along 30 kilometres of a dike, widely used in the Netherlands for reclaiming the sea.
Day 5, (BD) Wednesday 27 August 2008 Arnhem - Boppard
Cross into Germany over the bridge that has become known as the Bridge Too Far due to World War II action. Visit Cologne’s awe inspiring 13th century Gothic Cathedral. We then follow the Rhine past Bonn to St Goar, where we join a cruise along the scenic Rhine past castles, vineyards and half timbered villages.

Day 6, (BD) Thursday 28 August 2008 Boppard - Rothenburg
Our day commences with a visit to Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest university town. Enjoy the tremendous view from the castle overlooking the city. Continue to Rothenburg situated on a plateau at the intersection of the so-called ‘Romantic Road’ and the ‘Castle Road.’

Day 7, (BD) Friday 29 August 2008 Rothenburg sightseeing
Enjoy a full day in spectacular Rothenburg, a delightful medieval town, surrounded by 13th & 14th century ramparts; old flower-decked houses, cobbled streets and fountains. A local guide will escort us on a walking tour around this once ‘free imperial city’ and one of Germany’s most frequented towns.
Day 8, (BD) Saturday 30 August 2008 Rothenburg - Munich - Garmisch
Continue to Bavarian Munich along the most scenic part of the Romantic Road towards the Danube Valley. Your orientation tour includes the Olympic Stadium and Marienplatz as well as the 1000 foot high Television Tower. Then continue into the Bavarian Alps to the winter and summer resort town Garmisch.

Day 9, (BD) Sunday 31 August 2008 Bavarian Excursion
A local guide joins us for a relaxing day as we visit Neuschwanstein, "mad" King Ludwig's fairytale castle perched on its rocky outcrop high above a sparkling lake. Afternoon at leisure in Oberammergau the scene of the Passion Play every 10 years, performed in fulfillment of a vow made by the villages in the year of 1633. Being Sunday will take time out to worship our Lord.
Day 10, (BD) Monday 1 September 2008 Garmisch - Salzburg
Cross the border into Austria to visit Innsbruck, capital of the Austrian Tyrol. Stroll through quaint medieval lanes to Emperor Maximilians Golden Roof and Imperial Palace. Continue to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart and the place where “The Sound of Music” was filmed. A local guide will showcase all the important sites.

Day 11, (BD) Tuesday 2 September 2008 Salzburg - Venice
Venture south through the spectacular Tauern Mountains to the Carinthian Lake District and across the border to Italy. We cross the Veneto Plain and make our way to the Adriatic Sea and our hotel on the Grand Canal.

Day 12, (BD) Wednesday 3 September 2008 Venice sightseeing
Enjoy a full day to soak up the atmosphere of this enchanting city of fantasy. No visit to Venice is complete without a boat trip along the canals. Your local guide will explain the city's history and show you St. Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Basilica before we visit a traditional glass-blowing factory. In the afternoon treat yourself to a gondola ride through the peaceful canals and / or you may like to take an optional cruise across the lagoon to Burano, renowned for its lace.
Day 13, (BD) Thursday 4 September 2008 Venice - Rome
This morning we head south across the Po Delta following the expressway, which skirts the Adriatic coast. After crossing the Apennine Mountains we stop at Assisi, which is where St Francis was born in 1182. Here we visit the Basilica before continuing to Rome.

Day 14, (BD) Friday 5 September 2008 Rome sightseeing
A local guide joins us as we visit St Peter’s Basilica to see Michelangelo’s famous sculpture the Pieta which depicts the body of Jesus in the arms his mother Mary after the crucifixion. We then drive across the Tiber to visit the mighty Colosseum, the greatest amphitheatre of the antiquity. It was here that gladiators once fought to the death with animals or other gladiators. Continue to the Roman Forum that was once he centre of political and social activity. Afternoon free for personal sightseeing or shopping.
Day 15, (BD) Saturday 6 September 2008 Rome - Florence
Head north following the valley of the Tiber to Perugia, where we visit the Piazza 4 Novembre to see its Great Fountain, Gothic Cathedral and Priors’ Palace. After a scenic drive through the Tuscan olive groves we arrive in the rich Renaissance city of Florence. Traffic is banned in part of the historic centre, so visitors can wander at leisure and admire Florence’s timeless beauty. A local guide will escort us to the Academy Museum o see Michelangelo’s original “Statue of David”. At the Cathedral we will see the Baptistery and Ghibert’s Gates of Paradise which have been recreated. The church of Santa Croce concludes our day where we see the tombs of Galileo and Michelangelo.

Day 16, (BD) Sunday 7 September 2008 Florence sightseeing
Today we will worship at an English speaking Episcopal church in Florence before taking an excursion following the river westwards to the coastal town of Pisa. Here we see the famous Leaning Tower, where painstaking steps have been taken to prevent this con from falling over. Time also to admire the white marble cathedral and Baptistery before returning to Florence.
Day 17, (BD) Monday 8 September 2008 Florence - Zermatt
Leaving Florence we head north, past Milan and Italy’s magnificent Lake District before entering Switzerland and spectacular mountain scenery. Continue to Visp where we board the cog-wheel train to Zermatt, situated beneath the awe inspiring Matterhorn. Time now to relax in the serenity and beauty of this alpine retreat. Zermatt is a car free and carefree traditional Swiss village of wooden chalets and window boxes. Overnight: Alpen Resort Hotel (2 nights)
Day 18, (BD) Tuesday 9 September 2008 Zermatt sightseeing
Enjoy a full day relaxing in this mountain resort town with breathtaking scenery in every direction. If you are looking for something to do you may like to take an exciting optional train ride up the Gorner Grat (10,272 ft) to get an even better view of the Matterhorn or take a horse drawn ride around the village.
Day 19, (BD) Wednesday 10 September 2008 Zermatt - Lucerne
Our journey today is a particularly scenic one as we descend from Zermatt and travel across the snow capped Swiss Alps to picturesque Interlaken, situated between two lakes and in the shadow of the towering Jungfrau. Continue to Berne, Switzerland's beautiful capital and visit the renowned bear pit and federal Palace before arriving in the picturesque lakeside resort town of Lucerne, set amid its snow capped Alps .The day concludes with a delightful dinner cruise on the Lake.

Day 20, (BD) Thursday 11 September 2008 Lucerne sightseeing
A local guide joins us for a leisurely day to explore some of the fascinating highlights within easy reach of Lucerne. First we visit Zurich the economic powerhouse of Switzerland, with its many fine buildings and churches. Then it is off to see the mighty Rhine Falls - Europe's biggest, situated on the Swiss border with Germany.
Day 21, (BD) Friday 12 September 2008 Lucerne - Paris
Leaving Switzerland we skit the Jura Mountains and travel through the Burgundy wine region to Paris. Overnight: Holiday Inn Paris St Germain Des Pres (2 nights)
Day 22, (BD) Saturday 13 September 2008 Paris sightseeing
A local guide joins us to show us the famous sights including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe, Opera and Louvre. We also enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Seine and have some free time for shopping or personal sightseeing.
Day 23, (B) Sunday 14 September 2008 Paris - London
Leaving Paris today we board the Eurostar Train for our return journey back to London.

Day 24, (B) Monday 15 September 2008 Depart London
Evening departure so you will have most of today as a free day. If you choose to take advantage of the optional day tours, you will have today left for personal shopping or additional sightseeing.

Arrive Singapore around dinner time, so time for a good nights sleep.

A full day to unwind and enjoy some last minute shopping or sightseeing.
