This is a musical celebration of Canada featuring singing Mounties, lumberjacks and Anne of Green Gables and many more famous Canadian characters.
DAY 8 (BL) Sunday 3 June Lake Louise Sightseeing
Walk through the deep gorge of Johnston Canyon and admire the Valley of the Ten Peaks reflected in Moraine Lake’s turquoise waters. Stroll the shores of Lake Louise, ‘Jewel of the Canadian Rockies’, with its stunning glacier backdrop. Enjoy lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise. Visit such sights at Takakkaw Falls, Emerald Lake and the natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. Having enjoyed lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise, there is no need to rush back to the hotel for dinner. Opportunity, though, will be given for you to purchase a lighter meal as we return to our hotel. Being Sunday, a time to worship our Lord will be a fitting conclusion to a wonderful day.
DAY 9 (BD) Monday 4 June Canmore – Saskatchewan Crossing
Travel northward along one of the most spectacular highways in North America. The Icefield Parkway is highlighted by the frequent wildlife sightings, towering mountain peaks, tranquil lakes and cascading waterfalls. On route to the Columbia Icefield, stop at Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, and Peyto Lake. Ride the snow-coach on the Columbia Icefield, a 325 square kilometre expanse of ice up to 320 metres deep that has been growing for 400 years. Overnight accommodation at The Crossing Resort.
DAY 10 (BD) Tuesday 5 June Saskatchewan Crossing – Dawson Creek
Our journey continues north along Highway 40, also known as The Bighorn Highway. This route takes us along the eastern slopes of the Rockies to Grande Cache, where we take time to relax and enjoy the surrounding. There are walking trails ranging from 5 to 15 minutes, from short and light to long and difficult trails. After lunch we head further north through Grand Prairie, leaving the Canadian Rockies behind us. Stay overnight in George Dawson Inn.
DAY 11 (BLD) Wednesday 6 June Dawson Creek – Fort Nelson
Dawson Creek is where the Alaska Highway begins, winding its path all the way to Fairbanks, Alaska. Today we travel through Peace River country to Fort St. John, a service town to the oil and gas industries. Then on to Pink Mountain, where again we see the Rocky Mountains in the distance. Today we also cross the Trutch Mountain by-pass and the Muska River Bridge – at 1000ft, it’s the lowest point on the Alaska Highway. Stay overnight at Woodlands Inn.
DAY 12 (BLD) Thursday 7 June Fort Nelson – Watson Lake
Continue along the Alaska Highway through Stone Mountain Provincial Park and over the Summit Pass – the highest point of the Alaska Highway. More picturesque scenery as we pass Summit Lake, and Muncho Lake, known for its deep green and blue waters. This afternoon, you may wish to take a dip in the soothing waters of Laird Hot Springs Pool. It is here we leave the Rocky Mountains and enter the Yukon Territory for our overnight stop in Watson Lake. In Watson Lake, we visit the Northern Lights Centre and learn about the aurora borealis and other space research studies through a panoramic video and laser technology show that is one of a kid in North America. Stay overnight at the Gateway Motor Inn.
DAY 13 (BLD) Friday 8 June Watson Lake – Whitehorse
Before moving on, we visit the Signpost Forest, a collection of some 22,000 signs brought here by visitors from around the world. You may add your own if you wish. More beautiful scenery today as we travel through southern Yukon, crossing the British Columbia / Yukon border nine times. We pass through the Cassiar Mountains, then cross two of the longest bridge spans on the Alaska Highway – Nisutlin Bridge at 1917ft long, and Teslin River Bridge, at 1770ft long. Here we have our first view of the mighty Yukon River. On arrival in Whitehorse, the capital city of Yukon, we visit the SS Klondike, once the largest sternwheeler to ply the mighty Yukon River, now a National Historic Site. Stay overnight in the Westmark Whitehorse Hotel.
DAY 14 (BLD) Saturday 9 June Whitehorse – Dawson City
The excitement continues as we push further north, taking the alternate route, the Klondike Highway, with its incredible mountain scenery, lakes and historic towns. This is the route that some 40,00 gold seekers took in 1898. At Five Finger Rapids, we view from an observation deck the treacherous rapids that posed a navigational hazard to the riverboats, which were winched through a narrow channel against the current. Stay two nights at Westmark Dawson City Hotel.

DAY 15 (BD) Sunday 10 June Dawson City
For many people who take this journey through western Canada and Alaska, Dawson City, on the confluence of the Klondike and Yukon Rivers is the highlight of their trip. With a whole day here, you will have plenty of time to stroll the boardwalks of this most colourful and architecturally preserved town of the gold rush era. A city walking tour, and attending a church service will all add interest and excitement to this day.
DAY 16 (BD) Monday 11 June Dawson City – Fairbanks
Leaving Dawson City and the Yukon today, we travel through the lonely and remote lands of the “Top of the World Highway”. Many people consider this to be the highlight of their visit north, as the breathtaking vistas typify the “Great Land”. Overnight accommodation at the Bridgewater Hotel (2 nights).
DAY 17 (BD) Tuesday 12 June Fairbanks
No visit to Fairbanks would be complete without a trip on the Riverboat Discovery: rated in the top three Alaskan attractions. As we cruise along the Chena and Tanana Rivers, we experience first hand something of a culture and heritage of the Alaskan people as we view an Indian village and see a dog team demonstration. We will also come to appreciate why the riverboat was once the only transportation in Alaska and Yukon. A local guide will ensure we see all the sights of Alaska’s second largest city.
DAY 18 (BLD) Wednesday 13 June Fairbanks – Anchorage
Depart today from Fairbanks to Denali National Park, home to more than 40 species of mammals and 155 species of birds. Here you will be hosted to a guided four hour natural history tour of the Park. Be sure to bring a camera to record the magnificent Mount McKinley, North America’s highest peak. After lunch, we carry on to Anchorage, Alaska’s most cosmopolitan city.
DAY 19 (BD) Thursday 14 June Anchorage
Opportunities abound. Our last full day on land before seven wonderful nights cruising the Inside Passage. Enjoy a half day city sightseeing tour with a local guide, with the afternoon free for personal shopping and sightseeing, or you can join one of many optional day tours that could take you you to the Arctic Circle, Glacier Cruises, bear viewing, fishing, or even a snow dog sledding tour (Own expense).
DAY 20 (BLD) Friday 15 June Anchorage – Seward
Today we will travel 127 miles to Seward. Known as the “Gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park,” Seward is a picturesque community with a frontier-town atmosphere, with homes and buildings dating back to the early 1900s. Seward is a fishing village surrounded by the unrivalled beauty of the Kenai Wildlife Refuge, the Alaska Maritime National Refuge, Chugach National Forest and the Kenai Fjords National Park. Today we board our luxury Celebrity Cruise Ship Summit for our seven night Inside Passage Cruise to Vancouver.
DAY 21 (BLD) Saturday 16 June
Hubbard Glacier
Hubbard Glacier is the one glacier in the world that does not move at a glacial pace. Quite the opposite. In fact, in 1986, Hubbard Glacier - the largest tidewater glacier on the North American continent - moved an average of just under 5.5 feet per hour. Keep a watchful eye as you sail through the Yakutat Bay, as you may be a witness to geological history.
DAY 22 (BLD) Sunday 17 June
Skagway, Alaska
It's doubtful you'll succumb to gold fever, but if any place on earth can summon up the thrill of prospecting, it's Skagway. By embracing its gold rush past, Skagway has managed to preserve a frontier spirit complete with saloons and dance-hall revues. One option worth considering today is to board the vintage 1890’s parlour cars of the White Pass and Yukon Railway which takes you up the White Pass (3290 feet). The scenery here is among the most breathtaking anywhere. This and all shore excursions are at your expense.
DAY 23 (BLD) Monday 18 June Juneau, Alaska
Where Earl Grey meets Eddie Bauer® would be a good way to describe the charms of Alaska's capital city. Here the pioneering spirit lives on in an interesting mix of cosmopolitan chic and frontier ruggedness. Visit the Alaska State Museum and its exquisite collection of Russian Orthodox and Gold Rush relics.
DAY 24 (BLD) Tuesday 19 June Icy Straight Point, Alaska
Fifty miles west of Juneau and at the mouth of Glacier Bay, lies historic Icy Straight Point. Travellers have the unique opportunity to experience Tlingit culture, superior wildlife viewing opportunities and years of Alaskan history.
DAY 25 (BLD) Wednesday 20 June Ketchikan, Alaska
In addition to being the jumping-off point for seaplane excursions into the Misty Fjords National Monument and its 2.2 million acres of wilderness nirvana, Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit tribe. Another "must-see" here is the world's largest collection of totem poles. You can learn what motivates someone to turn a piece of lumber into a towering work of art at the Saxman Native Village and Totem Bight and Totem Heritage Centre.
DAY 26 (BLD) Thursday 21 June Inside Passage
This is one of the most famously beautiful passages in the entire world. It features virtually everything you came to Alaska hoping to see, including rain forests, glaciers, fjords and white-capped peaks. All of which create a setting that's perfect for viewing whales and sea lions.
DAY 27 (B) Friday 22 June Arrive / Depart Vancouver
On arrival into Canada Place Pier at 7.00am you will be disembarking around 9.00am.
