4 NIGHTS
Get ready for a truly relaxing holiday on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and at Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island. Tangalooma Resort is where part of the movie “Ticket to Paradise” was filmed – how very apt for a Christian holiday in Queensland!
At Brisbane airport we will meet up with the rest of our Group and transfer to our Sunshine Coast resort. The charming coastal town of Caloundra, known for its stunning beaches, laid-back atmosphere, and vibrant community, will be our home for the next 4 nights.

We have a fabulous day in store today as we travel up the Blackall Range to Maleny and Montville, named as two of Australia’s most welcoming towns.
Enjoy a guided walk in the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, 55 hectares of subtropical rainforest on the southern edge of the Blackall Range. The reserve overlooks the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains, unique formations that provide a glimpse into the volcanic history of the eastern Australia mainland.
Nearby Maleny is a lovely rural town surrounded by rolling green hills dotted with dairy cows. Enjoy lunch in the Mountain View Café and savour both the food and the vista – don’t forget to bring the camera! A scenic drive north along the range brings us to historic Montville. Step back in time and enjoy the tranquility of village life in a streetscape unique to any other tourist centre in Australia with free time to browse the many arts and crafts shops.
We finish our day at Dulong Lookout to take in the best view over the Sunshine Coast, from Coolum through to Caloundra. Breathtaking!

This morning, we head north to Mooloolaba, which sits on a spit of land between the ocean and the Mooloolah River. Mooloolaba Beach was recently voted one of the best in the South Pacific! We visit Sea Life Sunshine Coast Aquarium, Queensland’s largest oceanarium and aquarium. This marine mammal park, oceanarium and wildlife sanctuary has regular shows and demonstrations that allow us to see and understand so much about the ocean and its creatures. With sharks, rays, seals, otters and many more marine animals, there is much to see and do here and we have plenty of time to explore the centre.
After lunch at the Octopus Café we will return to our home base of Caloundra. Enjoy time at leisure to browse the town shops, walk on the beach or simply relax at the resort and spend time with new friends.

A relaxing start before we travel north to join Noosa River & Canal Cruises. Our luncheon cruise will take us along the stunning Noosa River, the river entrance, Weyba Creek and the beautiful hidden waterways of the Noosa Sound Canals. Enjoy beautiful views of the river, its wildlife and nature reserves, as well as some of Noosa’s magnificent waterfront homes.
As well as its natural beauty, Noosa is renowned for its many boutiques offering great window shopping or a little “retail therapy” – from designer fashion and jewellery to homewares, arts, designer furniture and beauty, you can simply browse or take home a locally made treasure.
Enjoy time to explore Noosa before we return “home” to Caloundra.

3 NIGHTS
Our Sunday begins with worship at St Augustine’s Anglican Church. Built on the site of an earlier church, the building grew and evolved over time, its stain glass windows and organ a memorial to those who were lost in both World Wars. The bell at St Augustine’s is believed to be the oldest bell in Australia, first hung in a Romanian Church by the Emperor Constantine in 320 AD. Retrieved from a World War I battleground by Australian sailors, the bell was donated to St Augustine’s to hang as a war memorial.
We leave the mainland behind as a 75-minute ferry journey takes us to the magnificent Moreton Island, the third largest sand island in the world. This slice of paradise is 98% National Park and offers miles of beaches, crystal clear creeks and lagoons, tall sand dunes, coastal heath and rocky headlands. Our home for the next 3 nights is the Tangalooma Island Resort, built next to a white sandy beach and overlooking clear, aquamarine waters.
The remainder of the day is yours to settle in and enjoy the facilities and activities on offer. Take a deep breath and … relax…ahhhhh!
Enjoy the incredible experience of hand feeding one of the wild bottlenose dolphins that visit the shores each evening. There is a large family of these playful dolphins that visit regularly, each with their own distinctive and unique personality. Enjoy this rare wildlife encounter with God’s Creatures as you watch the sun set over the water.
What a wonderful Sunday!

Today we will explore the pristine Southern part of the island on the Southern Safari 4WD Bus Tour. Experience the raw and rugged beauty of the island’s coastline, including the dense bushland and coloured sands of Middle Road and the crystal-clear waters of Mirapool Lagoon.
Some of the highlights include the Normandy and Fairlight Wrecks as well as the remnants of WWII fortifications at Rous Battery site. Then feast upon a delicious island lunch including fresh seafood sourced directly from local trawlers or oysters fresh from local growers. Yum!
Overnight: Tangalooma Island Resort
Mulgumpin meaning ‘place of sandhills’ is the Aboriginal name for Moreton Island. On our Bush Tucker Tour we will get to crush and smell some of the island’s edible plants, leaves, and berries as we learn about the recorded culture and habitats of the Mulgumpin’s Indigenous people.
After lunch we join the Northern Safari Tour passing through the townships of Cowan Cowan and Bulwer before arriving at North Point. Visit the oldest lighthouse in Queensland at Cape Moreton and take the scenic walk to the base of the lighthouse for stunning views of the turquoise waters below. Afterwards, we head back via the untouched and expansive Eastern Beach, where wide sandy beaches stretch for kilometres.
Enjoy fellowship with new friends – take time to relax, reflect and connect!
