We travel to Samoa via Fiji, two countries that have held strong Christian beliefs since the arrival of Missionaries in 1830; whilst both countries have unique and rich cultures dating back 3,000-years, Christianity is now an intrinsic part of their social fabric. Samoa is so staunchly faithful that, in June 2017, the Samoan Parliament amended the constitution to transform the country from a secular to Christian nation – “Samoa is a Christian nation founded of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit”.
